A collet adaptable on all types of multi-spindle lathes ( Tornos, Gildmeister, Index, Wickman…)

This new collet has in its centre a hard metal insert, which one varies in diameter. Adjustable at will, it no longer leaves any marks on the bar.The hard metal insert significantly increases the lifespan of this type of collet.

Mac Farlane collet :

E.C.S. acquired the British company Mac Farlane specialised in feed collets with interchangeable pads for multi-spindle or single-spindle lathes.

Very interesting for medium scale production or on high capacity lathes, it’s interchangeable system reduces wear therefore leaving very few traces on the metal bars.
