ECS (ENGINEERING CARBIDE SYSTEMS) was founded in 1982 by mr schupach manufacturing guide bushes and special collets. IN 1988 ECS WAS ACQUIRED BY MR MARCHAND WITH A workforce of 3 EMPLOYEES. That same year manufacture was primarily oriented to satisfy local demand. Exportation was minimal, almost inexistent. Then in 1996 following the construction of a new factory including a 700m2 air conditioned workshop fully equipped with highly efficient material.

E.C.S. specialises in tools for clamping and guiding hard metal and sees itself as the essential partner for users of screw machinery, of both modern or older designs.
In terms of innovation E.C.S. filed two patents first in1996 then in 2000 to satisfy very specific requirements.

E.C.S. is known throughout the world thanks to it’s distributors.
Today 80% of it’s products are exported, mainly to Europe but also to the U.S.A., Australia, Switzerland…etc.
We also have our local (the Arve Valley) and national French clientele.

E.C.S. has obtained certification of it’s quality system in accordance with ISO 9001/2000 COFRAC standards. The acquisition of this certification is just one step, which shows our determination to continue and intensify our efforts through improved deadlines as well as quality. So as to serve you better and gain your trust.
